MAAC Announces '11-'12 Broadcast Schedule

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and ESPN released this upcoming seasons men's and women's basketball ESPN broadcast schedule yesterday. This year the MAAC will have 40 games on the ESPN family of networks. All 10 member institutions will receive a minimum of three (men's and women's) national televised games with ESPN this year.

The 2011-2012 broadcast schedule will feature six regular season games for Marist, three for the men and three for the women. Both teams have two home games (in the McCann Center, and one on the road). Marist's first national broadcast will be Jan. 20th on ESPN U when the women take on Loyola (in the McCann Center) in a rematch of last season's MAAC Championship game. Later that night the men will host Manhattan at 9pm on ESPN3.

The next nationally televised game for Marist will be the women's away game at Manhattan Feb. 4th at 4:30pm and for the men on Feb. 9th at 8:30pm from Saint Peters.

Finally the third game for the Red Foxes is on Feb. 23 when they host another double header starting with the women taking on Iona at 6pm (Senior Day) and the men hosting Siena at 9pm.

The ESPN family of networks will broadcast the MAAC Championships from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass. from March 1-5, 2012.

Looking forward to getting some wins on national television this season.
